Starting to think about immersive research

In this video I discuss some foundational issues that can help you get started thinking about immersive research. In particular, I challenge the common assumption that conducting social scientific research is a ‘messy’ process and I make some suggestions as to how we should move passed such misunderstandings.

I have a couple of book chapters, which you can read here and here, where I explore these ideas more fully.

I love talking about this stuff so if you have any questions or comments, please drop me a message.
