Academic book chapters: the good, the bad and the lovely

Over the years, I’ve written several academic book chapters in edited collections. Some of these chapters are my favourite pieces of writing, but some were also a right pain in the ass for various reasons.

At one point, I had so many book chapters in a row that I promised I wouldn’t write another again. Eventually, after a bit of time away, I’ve now embraced academic book chapters again… I’m just finishing two off now.

As I have enjoyed the process, I thought I’d do a quick video to give some details. And I finish by discussing how you can try to get offers to write for an edited academic book.
